Called INRIX® Drive Time™, the tool goes beyond providing distance to work in miles or travel times based on speed limits and offers home buyers actual drive times in traffic throughout the day for every day of the week.
The Reliance platform hosts over 55,000 RE/MAX sites nationwide, and with INRIX® Drive Time™ provides prospective home buyers with the ability to identify and compare home listings based on preferred travel times in traffic rather than distance to work.

In 2013, 61 U.S. metro areas saw increased traffic congestion, a big shift from 6 in 2012. Buyers who have access to drive time information are better informed and able to conduct a more focused search.

INRIX® Drive Time™ is freely available to users of RE/MAX sites on the Reliance platform. To use this new feature as part of their home search, potential home buyers simply enter their work address, preferred time of day and desired length of commute into the INRIX Drive Time search box along with other search criteria. Home buyers can save an address to their profile and the INRIX Drive Time tool will automatically generate a graph on each listing, showing how times vary by different departures throughout the day.
